Chris Jordan is the exceptional artist who focuses his lens on the underside of civilization. His work is often stunning in its beauty while at the same time shameful for its content, revealing as he does the grim truth of the cost of our greedy, ignorant life style. His great skill as a photographer is well challenged by the subjects he chooses to frame with his cameras. We can attempt escape from many intolerable actions we have committed, but not when there are eyes as sharp as Chris Jordan's to jerk us back to reality.
